Just got back to Scotland from Caesers what a bad trip. I booked a suite online but when I arrived they told me I had the cheapest room and could upgrade for $160 per day. I told them I had booked the 4 expensive room on the internet but no use. I was also told that I would get $50 bonus for booking the romm and it said that on the booking form but did not get it. The check in was a rip off. The toliet was blocked and took ages to get sorted. The room was dirty and not made up correctly. The casino was not very good, they have turned most of the machines over to 1 cent, 5 cents manchines? all the idiots playing them seem to think tthis is OK but do nott realise that the casino is ripping them off. The machines have 5/6 reels and it costs over $2 to play one spin with little chance of winning. All the strip casinos are like this. We use to come to LV 5 times a year, it has lost it's glitz and is a rippoff now. We use to stay at TI but this is now for unnder 25's and the whole buffet, music, good times have gone. I fear LV has lost it's way. I for one will not be going back until something changes, going to try Reno or Atlantic City, good bye Las Vegas.

Booked thru Expedia and got a room in Forum Tower. Construction going on here and banging noise starts every morning at 8:00 AM sharp.

Called front desk to complain and was offered $75 credit which I refused.

Worst travel experience ever had

Please be aware that even though Caesars is not in a needy country, the custodial staff finds it within their right to help themselves to your personal property when you have left the room. Not only that, but the most intricate measures are put into place to protect the hotel from any liability. I was just recently told (after 3 months of attempting to retrieve my belongings and cash) that I can go fu@k myself in almost that exact wording by their insurance company, and that Caesar's is not responsible for their staff behavior. This amongst many other problems including room reservation issues, cleanliness of the room, the worst customer service I have ever encountered, the poorest response time of any security, constant problems with room service and our key cards to name a few, will ensure I never go back again.

Stayed at Caesars Palace for our 31st wedding anniversary and loved it despite being a bit apprehensive at the start.
We had a little trouble finding the car park as the place is so big! There is a fair bit of construction work going on at the moment so they can be excused for the confusing access to the car park but once we had been there once we had no problem. Plenty of undercover parking and we never had to look far for a space
We had booked on line and despite paying what I thought was a fair amount of money for a room we were told we could upgrade for an extra $120 a night! As we had just traveled from Phoenix I was too tired to barter too hard but the upgrade price came down to $80 a night for a deluxe strip view room near the top of the Augustus Tower and boy was it worth it! A great room with a great view. We had four wonderful nights there.
The staff were always very courteous and extremely helpful. We tried the buffet, very good, and the Augustus cafe, again excellent for a very late night/early hours of the morning meal. The food in the snack area though was not as nice and expensive for what you got. The coffe shop there was ok though.
To top it all off I won $140 for a $2 bet on the slots! The construction of a new tower meant that the Forum pool area was noisy but despite that very clean and worth using. We aren't good looking, or young enough to use the Venus pool but that would be quieter if you really needed a quiet place to swim or sunbathe. This is a "European" sunbathing area so topless sunbathing is allowed so if you are at all prissy about that sort of thing then stick with the main pool. Us Brits and other european nationals don't think twice about it but I know some folks in the US get a bit flustered about bare flesh!
The stuff in the minibar is hideousley expensive though, the packets of potato chips and chocolates were laughably priced. Who the hell pays for it I don't know they must have more money than sense!
All in all, an expensive, but worthwhile place to stay.

Get yourself some popcorn and coke—This will be good!!!!!!We arrived at around 1:00 to Caesars. Check-in was not too bad it took about 30 minutes to get through it. The girl at the desk was very nice and gave us room 4068 in the Augustus tower. We went up to the room and it was really nice. Our luggage arrived about 30 minutes later. We were hungry and wanted to see the pool so we decided to go down to the pool and eat at snackus maximus. The pool area lacks shade at all the pools. They are doing construction so one of the spas was closed. We ordered the chicken snacks basket of fries 3 cokes and a mozzarella basil appetizer and charged to the room 30.00. Expensive for what we got, but realizing we were at Caesars spoke for itself. My youngest daughter took pictures of the pool with her new camera that she got for graduation and then put it away and sat down to eat. After we finished we played cards for about 30 minutes and decided to take a swim. Each of us had a chair and we covered our purses with our belongings and then topped them off with the towels.
We were in the pool not more than an hour and I decided to go up and take a shower. I took my belongings. When I got to the room my youngest daughter called me asking if I took her purse. Well it turns out someone stole her purse at poolside with her id’s, camera and iPod in it. I raced back down to the pool and we made the report. She was visibly upset and kept saying she wanted to go home. I asked for them to lock our room down as I knew the person had her room key and room charge which showed our room number. I also requested a new room so she would feel better. This took place around 4 pm
Well-we got the keys for the new room and we moved the luggage ourselves. No offer for bellman assistance by the hotel. We got to the room and the keys did not work. Went back downstairs and went through the check-in line. Received a new set of keys and was also notified that security had my youngest daughter’s purse. My older daughter and I went to security to get the purse. There was a lot of confusion as the guard still had not received the theft report. He would not release anything to me and wanted my daughter to come and get it. This I found strange as she is not 18 yet. I went to call her in the old room and tried to find a house phone. The guard would not do that for us. When I left my older daughter stayed there and he proceeded to make derogatory remarks about me. Stating I was a crazy women.
Daughter got her purse and while at the guard’s place had to inventory all items. Found the camera and iPod to be missing. I knew that was going to happen. She continued to cry and was really shaken. She kept saying she felt violated and the person had her camera with all her photos and that had her really bothered.
Anyway we went back up stairs and the keys again did not work. I now have one daughter a mess and wants to get in her room. My luggage locked in that room and our keys do not work. So I call them downstairs and spoke to guest services manager. He was with us at poolside when all this took place. I explained about the room and we were locked out. He apologized and said someone would come up and help. Well that person could not open the room with his keys either. It took 4 times to get it right.
I called the guest services manager and again explained how upset I was and told him about the guard and remarks he made about me in front of my daughter. He offered to give us $75.00 room service as an act of good faith and promised they would make this right. Well my daughter kept crying and saying she wanted to go home. WE began to realize that the thief had to have been watching us as he knew which purse to grab and he had a really small window to do this in. I stayed in with my daughter and called my host and told him what happened. He offered a room upgrade and then called back and said that there were no room upgrades that were non smoking. Sure I believe that one. We called it a night and decided to wait till morning and see what we would do.
Well today the fiasco continued. I tried to get a hold of the manager 3 times and left messages and till this hour he has not returned my calls. We had the shower overflowing and both TVs were not working all night so we did not even have TV. The fixed the TV and the Shower this morning.
I called security to find out the circumstances about where the purse was found. We were told it was found in the lobby. As it turns out they lied to us and we are now told someone dropped it off. I asked if they got their name and phone number and they said they never thought to do that.
At this point I decided to cut my losses as our trip was obviously ruined, the customer service was horrendous and my daughter was now afraid to go to the pool. We were supposed to stay till Sunday and this was Thursday. I had plane reservations out but during the night my older girlfriend’s boyfriend came to surprise her and join us. So he drove us home.
I went to checkout and the desk person told me I owed 52.00! That was insult to injury as I had not been there more than 24 hours and it was hell the whole time. I argued with him and eventually when I threatened to tell all the people in check in what happened he removed the charges. Something is wrong with the charges as I know we did not buy that food. So tomorrow I will ask for an itemized bill.
To summarize, in less than 24 hours at Caesars. My daughter was robbed; we were locked out of our room 4 times. I had the shower plugged up, no TV service till around 9 am and I was insulted and lied to. I find it hard to believe that a hotel of this standard is worse than a Motel 6. I think it is strange that they do not use any type of room key check at the pool. Anyone can go in there and use it. I also find that their security is substandard and needs some help.

Did not stay here, but went to the Celione Dion concert. Though I was not particularly a fan( I am now), thought we would go. What special effects! This was absolutely fabulous. When it was over, it was like waking up from a dream. GO, before it is too late. She is by far, the best entertainer I have ever seen. No one can hold a note like she can. What a beautiful voice. Worth every penny.

Spent weekend of 3/30/07-4/1/07 at Caesars to see Elton John. Arrived at 10:30 pm on Friday night, and the Premium Palace Tower room i had reserved was no longer available. But the person at the desk was fast to offer an Executive Suite in the Forum tower. Room did not have a real good view, but it was a very big, very nice suite with separate living and sleeping quarters. The service was excellent during the stay, from the maid service (evening turn down service with chocolates), bar service, casino service etc. and the Elton John show was incredible, definately worth the price of admission. Caesar's Palace is a great place to stay and play!

I've stayed all across the Strip and this is my first time at Caesar's. While I had a good stay, I can't say that Caesar's is up to par with Bellagio/Wynn/Venetian. The rooms in the Palace Tower are smaller than I expected and I felt that much of the hotel (including the main entrance where all cabs drop you off) is very outdated and in need of renovation. Some aspects of service were lacking as well. Again, I had a good stay but, given the price of Caesar's I would opt for Bellagio/Wynn/Venetian because the rooms are considerably larger, the properties are in much better overall condition, and the service is better.

We were in Vegas for a significant birthday and we were upgraded to the Augustus tower when we checked into Caesar's. The room was incredible with a view of the Bellagio, its water show and the strip. The staff at Caesar's were friendly and accomodating beyond expectations. Food was great at each of the restaurants we tried however the service at the Augustus Cafe was inconsistent.
Can't wait for our next visit to Caesars.

Beautiful rooms. Ask for one in the Augustus tower facing Bellagio. You'll have a nice view of the water show from your room. Casino is also beautiful, but be warned, it is large and confusing. If you are hungry, avoid the Augustus cafe'. The staff is slow, rude and could really give a flying isht if that you are there. I highly recommend Cafe Lago Buffet which is also on the casino and not too far away. The staff is friendly and actually cares that you have a good dining experience. They also have live piano music, a nice touch. This hotel also has a pretty cool shopping mall with statues that perform animatronic shows.

My mother and I were lucky enough to stay here thanks to a last-minute air-hotel package with a highly discounted rate. Normally we wouldn't try this sort of a high-end property (we like somewhat less pricey properties like MGM Grand, T.I., and Bally's), but with a good deal, who can resist a chance to stay at Caesars?

Caesars Palace lives up to the hype and then some. The standard room was beautiful and packed with amenities, especially in the bathroom (TV mounted near the mirror, jacuzzi tub, phone by the toilet, lighted shower, etc.). Mom had a great experience with room service, the spa was lovely yet is set for a total update soon, Cafe Lago was a pretty good buffet, and it didn't take long to figure out the sprawling layout. We also loved the pool area, on par with MGM's but far less rambling and confusing. And who doesn't love the delightful Forum Shops, with the Cheesecake Factory restaurant? Even coming back here late at night from shows was pleasant - there's always a comforting bustle and the lighting is warm and bright.

This sort of experience is usually outside my price range - but if it's within your means or you can catch a deal like we did, by all means give it a try. The location is prime and the surroundings are wonderfully posh and fun.

I was in LV for business. The waits to check in and then to check out took forever. The hotel staff was curt and unhelpful compared to business hotels in "normal" cities. However, the place is still a delight to roam around in, the decor is awesome and the restaurants are actually quite good.

Excellent property, stayed in the Palace Towers, a long walk from the front door to the elevators. The room was fantastic, first time I stayed at this property, would stay again. A true Las Vegas Legend. Have to shoot craps in the caesars pit. Stayed there May 28 to June 2, 2006, looking forward to my next trip.

We didn't stay in the rooms, but the casino is really smoky due to poor ventilation. I'm a smoker, but this was too much even for me. It was worse than several of the downtown casinos. The exit doors are poorly marked and the casino is hard to navigate, much more than others on the strip.
It's a fun place and has always had the great reputation as a high-end resort. I'm sure that it will continue on with this because it is ENORMOUS and has THE best location on the strip. However, it's really getting dated in the casino and needs some serious remodeling and better lighting.

Fourth stay at Caesars Palace - May 13 through 16, 2006. This trip we had a beautiful, huge mini-suite in the new Augustus Tower. This building is as good or better than Bellagio, and brand new. We had a nice dinner at 808, but Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill was slow and noisey this time, although we ate there on a Monday. The pools continue to be the best in Vegas, and weren't crowded even on Saturday.
The attitude and friendliness of everyone on the Caesars staff was good to excellent. These people really help you enjoy your stay.
We saw the Celine Dion show and it is an impressive production, but greatly overpriced. We had expensive first orchestra seats, but now that I've seen the theatre, I'd recommend to the readers that you buy the second balcony tickets. You'll see everything just fine for one-third of the price.
We've now sampled about half a dozen Las Vegas casino-hotels, and I think we've found our home. Next visit, I think we'll spend our entire week at Caesars Palace. Hail Caesar!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Third visit to Caesars Palace (May 7-12, 2005). Still a top notch choice. More friendly and relaxed than Bellagio, but still elegant in its own "classic" way. The most outstanding feature of the place is the pools. They are beautiful, spacious, and never crowded. That wouldn't be the case on May weekends everywhere else. Bellagio, for instance, is elbow to elbow at their totally inadequate pools.
The casino at Caesars is a bit out-of-date, despite the constant renovations they make. But if you play craps, rolling at Caesars'legendary craps pit is a "must do".
Comps are decent for a mid-level player. But I'd guess that players below mid-level might feel like they'd been treated with stingy indifference. Caesars Palace is still oriented to the upper tier, although they aren't quite up there with Bellagio, Venetian and Wynn. Overall, an excellent experience, and one that we'll repeat annually.

We just returned from a fabulous stay at Caesars. I have always wanted to stay there and it finally worked out so that we could. The young lady who checked us in was probably the friendliest check in person we have ever dealt with in Vegas. AND...she upgraded our rooms for free! Our rooms were AWESOME! The only complaint we had on this trip was that we didn't win anything in the casino. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Would someone please tell us what the !@#$ is with the entrance thru the Forum Shops?????!!!!! You cannot find the casino anymore. Who designed this? Stevie Wonder???? You enter from the strip next door to Mirage, then you have to take elevator, then exit to Escalator, then longggg walk thru Forum Shops to first sign of Casino.(?????) Really miss the old fountains and the people movers that brought you inside. You think the Aladdin is hard to enter, try Caesars.

We stayed at Caesars Nov 5-7. We got our room through SW Vacation package which was cheaper than doing airfare and room on our own. We got lucky and had a nice room in Forum Tower with separate jacuzzi tub and large bathroom. We saw Celine Dion Sun night which was great. We ate a Cheesecake Factory (great) and Augustus Cafe (ok) for dinner. We went to Paris buffet for breakfast (yum yum) Location is great, casino is nice and we had a great time.

We did not stay at the Caesar's Palace, but walked through on our sightseeing trips. The theme is nice, and the lobby is pretty. The Anamatronic show was neat, but a bit kitchy. If you are in the Forum shops, go see it, but don't go out of your way for it. FAO Schwartz toy store has a cute little show of two nice fellows playing a floor piano by dancing. It is on the 2nd floor of the store, but I think it was only every hour or so. If you love toys, he store itself is worth a trip!

Stayed on the 11th floor of the Roman Tower from Oct. 20-23. The room and service were excellent. Slots were very tight most of the time. But we played enough to get a nice chunk of dough taken off our bill. If we get another offer in the mail - as we did this time - we would stay here again.

The most "Vegasey" of all the strip properties, Caesars Palace is a must see. The place is HUGE with two casinos Forum and Palace. I enjoyed the Sports Book, which is in the Forum casino area. Neat statue of Joe Louis there. Large selection of table games, with fairly high minimums. Huge selection on slots and some pretty good VP, esp on the $1 level. Wife enjoyed window shopping in the Appian Way and Forum shops. I, who tend to avoid shopping, even enjoyed looking at the new additions to the Forum shops. Of the eight days spent in Vegas, 7/2-7/10, we played and shopped here at least three times for several hours a pop. We did'nt eat here, there are many fine EXPENSIVE places, but the Coffee Shop seemed not to be over priced, on par with other Caesars properties coffee shops. A fun place to play, shop, and gawk at the sights!

I stayed here about 5 years ago but this time it was just a visit to the casino before the Celine Dion show. I rememebr the slots were very tight 5 years ago and nothing has changed! I don't expect to be a winner at slots but I do expect to have some small pays once in a while to keep going. Every slot was the same, very tight and none anywhere that were looser. If we put $20 in a quarter slot and played 1 quarter per spin, we would be lucky to get only a couple cherry hits before our money was gone! Nickles were the same. I sure don't mind loosing $20 if I can play for 20 minutes or so but 5 minutes and the $20 is gone? Caesars is a very nice place but I'm not crazy about the casino layout. It seams there are slots placed here and there, wherever they had room to fit them and not one big casino floor. Forum shops are really nice and the Celine Dion show was excellent! I recommend the show to everyone! Stay at Caesars, shop at Casears, eat there, see the show but play the slots elsewhere!

I have stayed at many hotels on the strip prior to actually moving to Las Vegas. All of them were very clean and the service was excellent. The rooms and service at Casear's Palace were superior in my opinion. However, I would agree that they need more diverse restaurant offerings. I also know how irratating it can be to stay in a hotel under renovation. I have read many of the comments that have been posted from all of the big strip hotels and realize that many of the complaints come from people living in California and the larger East Coast states. This does not suprise me in the least. Many people from California are stuck up snobs to begin with meaning they would not be happy in any situation. People must realize that many of the properties on the strip are some of the largest hotels in the United States, so of course you are going to have to walk a bit to your room. People must also realize that Las Vegas is a smoky place. If you have a serious problem with smoke do not come here!! Las Vegas is also not a good place to have a family vacation that involves children. Take the children to Disneyland or a theme park. Las Vegas is really for adults. Las Vegas is also a tourist based economy so you should not be alarmed to see huge crowds most of the year. If many of the Californians have visited the Disney parks or other theme parks you know you always have to wait in very long lines. I can also see why some of the hotel employees are not always friendly because they have to deal with stuck up irate people all day long! It would get on your nerves also. Have some patience when visiting Las Vegas otherwise you might as well stay home. Another thing that is very prevalent in this town "you get what you pay for"! Do not expect a luxury room if you only paid $40.00 for it!

2nd visit to Caesars. Last year was more than wonderful. This year it was horrible. We had comped a Palace Tower room for 4 nights. $20 trick got us DOWNgraded to a room in the tower with NO coffee maker; no towels; several lights out in the bathroom and one room key which wouldn't work. Our host never contacted us until the day before we left. No offers of anything from her. I had to call housekeeping every day for more towels. 3 towels for 4 people just doesn't cut it. If you are flying Southwest, don't count on Caesars business office to open early enough for you to get your boarding passes either. They open at 6am, but they close at 11pm, so you are stuck with the 6am check-in, and the chance to get an "A" boarding pass is limited. The pool was awesome, but we had had such a fabulous time last year, that this year was a TRUE disappointment. We will not stay there again. We will be staying at the Venetian next year. We loved Caesars, but this trip put a VERY bad taste in our mouth. There was no need to give us the worst room in the place. Shame on Caesars. It was a total insult.

Although, it is expensive, you get what you pay for... Caesars is well worth it if you have the means. People always say, Location, Location, Location and Caesars has that. The best in Vegas. The rooms are huge. We stayed in the big tower over looking the pools and the room had two bathrooms in it, I think we had a free upgrade. Teh service is excellent. The bars are full of just the right people and the drinks, top of the line drinks are free at the casino. Also, the restaurants are excellent, Mesa Grill, Ogden, etc. Plus, you have the Forum shops right there if you want to stop by and grab your sweety some bling. Also, the sports book is a dream. I have always won, whether it is $20 for the whole trip or a couple of G's, I always win at Caesars. The pool is excellent too. Make sure you drop by the European Sunbathing pool for a glimpse of the ladies. Some of the restaurants are pricey, Lago, Snackus Maxiumus... and if you pay for drinks, they could be pricey too. The value of the hotel might not be there, but we have stayed there for 4 years in a row, and its not because things are pricey, its because of location, service and the rooms. Also, if you are a single guy, there are so many beautiful babies there, you have to go, just to check it out. Highly recommend.

Friendly service seems to be the right words for Caesars. The rooms are neat, clean, large and well designed. We stayed for five days and couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more. Well maybe we could have won some money. That always changes attitudes for the better.

The hotel was very busy with March Madness (basketball), ConExpo and spring break. When we plan our next visit we will be more attentive to the happenings in Vegas because we find the super crouds just a little overwhelming.

The additional stores of the forum shops are worth seeing and the curving esculators were new to me. Just like the rest of Caesars, the marble and sculptures look great.

The one thing that Caesars lacks is a good buffet. The buffet in Cafe Lago is OK but not on a Vegas scale and I think a GOOD buffet would be well recieved.

We are now in a wait mode for our next return to Vegas (save up slot machine ammunition)and our next stay at Caesars. We have had the pleasure of many trips to Las Vegas and have stayed at many different places but there is only one Caesars and there reputation as one of the best is well deserved.

Really disappointing. I won't ever stay at this property again. Had a corner room in the Centurion tower, and had a lovely view of the air condition units. We asked for queen beds and were given full sized beds. didn't win anything in the casino.

Let me start by saying I'm a Vegas regular & have stayed at Caesars before. I love Las Vegas! In my 20+ visits, this is the 1st time a property has soured me on the experience. We decided to spurge a bit more than usual & stay in the new Palace Tower. NOT WORTH THE MONEY! At close to $400 a night you don't expect to see burn marks on the rugs & an entire floor that smells like an ashtray. We purchased a platinum package for 3 nights with Elton John tickets. Elton was AWESOME, the concert, while louder & a bit more off the wall than I expected was a great experience! I also must give high marks to 98% of the Caesars employees that we encountered. I'm not saying they were good, I'm saying they were outstanding, the over & above kind of service you used to expect from a property like Caesars. The downside was the other 2% & overall feeling that the place has just gotten too big & too corporate. The weekend was crazy; there were zillions of sightseers with baby strollers EVERYWHERE & young children packing every available space. You constantly felt lost. Gambling there was out of the question. unless you enjoy a daycare atmosphere. We went elsewhere to gamble & came out way ahead in that department, so no sour grapes there. But my big warning for you unsuspecting visitors is the food. The new Cypress Street Marketplace is just horrible. What passes for food is overpriced & barely edible. STAY AWAY. Another scam to watch out for is the restaurants in the Forum. While the ones we visited had great, but not inexpensive food, there are no signs anywhere letting you know that YOU CANNOT CHARGE MEALS TO YOUR ROOM! Boy, do I wish I had read that information in the reviews! The poor waiters are the ones that have to break the news when you pull out your room key. I was told that it happens on a regular basis but according to the front desk, if they informed people before hand, it would cost them too much business. Nice policy. If you want to see Caesars Palace, walk through with the rest of the tourists, but stay, eat & gamble elsewhere! It’s not the Palace it used to be.

Beware of the Ceasars Palace !! Some people live on reputation and this is it !!!! Hey everyone well as some may know I'm on a mission to stay at every casino or hotel on the strip and this last trip I stayed at 3 different ones (Aladdin,Bally's and Ceasar's ) and this was the last stop in a week of running . Check in was ok I was comped a couple of days by the casino . I never have stayed here before but for the most part I "USED" to like gambling here . Now the standard room is only 350 sqft pretty small but I was "Comped" the next room up . Which I believe is 500 sqft not sure .... Anyways the place was ok not bad but there was a odor which I couldn't place my finger on ...... I wish I had a blacklight bet I could have found it then . I went to play some blackjack and I was pretty ticked off the dealers were very disinterested in who you were , where your fom or if you were having a good time . Money is money but no biggie . I lose more then I win but when they never crack a smile at you well ???? The Pit Bosses seemed to feel like since they work at Ceasars it is a license to be all big headed over it . Not one came by to say hello or anything . I was at a table there for close to 4 hours playing between 20-50 dollars per hand and wasn't even said hello to let alone a stare . The forum shops are nice I did enjoy that but for the most part this place is grown so big it's hard to take it all in !!! Plus there is parts of the resort that are showing ALOT of age and do you really ever think they will tear it down ? Heck no they are doing another tower off to the side ? Heck those 350 sqft rooms have been there since it opened in the 60's and they are still rented out for close to 250 buck a night !!!! Overpriced for what you get and it's not worht it . Heck you go to the Venetian an get a 750 sqft room for what you get here . Trust me go to Venetian for a real room or the Rio !!! Email me if you got questions on this over hyped over rated resort

Stayed in the Palace Tower. The suite was awesome. Problem was house keeping. They cleaned the room very good, but failed to replace coffee daily, failed to replace water daily, failed to clean out fridge from previous guests, when we left a note on the piloow to leave a couple of extra ashtrays they failed to do so. So in the house keeping area they have a big problem.
But the rest of the hotel was great, great servive in the bars and restraunants, bell caption excellent, front desk excellant, all and all except for house keeping was great. Will stay there again.

Stayed in the Palace Tower. Nice room with plenty of space and a good strip view but nothing to justify their rates! The food was excellent; Bradley Ogden is the best I've had on the strip. Excellent vacation but it will cost you.

We stayed in the Rain Man Suite. It was unreal!!! The view was wonderful. The service was great too. We ate at the Mesa Grill, it was good but Nero's was excellent. The service there was the best! We also saw Elton John. We had 3rd row seats on the side where Elton performed. We even danced on stage!! This was our second trip to Vegas and at Caesar's. We wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.

I stayed in Caesar's from the 20th to the 24th of September...I will say that the check in was remarkably fast, I am oxygen dependent and I was in need of oxygen which was delivered to the hotel from the oxygen supplier. My sister was with me at the time, she literally jumped in front of several folks to get help...they did help her right away and I was in my room in no time- about 11 am. My room was located on the 3rd floor in the Roman towers...not the nicest room and the view wasn't so great- I saw the sides of other buildings out of my window. The bathroom was in decent shape though and the tub was nice. Room service was quick and the staff was more than helpful in that regards. Food was pretty expensive though. The maid service was good, they did a good job cleaning the rooms and giving us extra towels and pillows for our stay. There was one major pet peeve though...my family and I were scheduled to see Celine's A new day on the 22nd, we were seated near the stage-dead center with a great view..I couldn't wait to see the show! We waited...and waited...it was around 9:15 pm when a voice was heard overhead (no representative, just a voice) announcing that the show was cancelled due to Celine falling ill. Let me tell you, there were 4,000 very unhappy folks in that coliseum! I did express my dismay to Caesar's staff, but my complaints fell on deaf ears. That part of my trip was very disappointing to say the least. My family and I went to great lengths and expense (oxygen costs a pretty penny when using the airline's) to travel to Vegas to see that show. I did have a good time despite not seeing the show- the nice thing about Vegas is that there is something for everyone!

My company paid for me to stay here, so I can't complain too much. But considering the reviews and reputation, I have to say this hotel is very disappointing. I prefer the MGM Grand over this place.
The room was dark and didn't feel that clean. The restaurants in the hotel were out of my range. The food court was severely lacking in breakfast food offerings (and the lines to get into the hotel's main "3 meal" restaurant, near the pool--I can't think of the restaurant's name--ALWAYS had long lines).
This hotel needs more "mid range" restaurants (like the MGM Grand).
Check in took FOREVER. The staff behind the counter were very friendly but there were not enough working when I checked in. Although check-in was at 3 PM, my room was not ready until six. I know of some guests who were visiting (this was a business trip) who could not check in until NINE PM.
The pool had luke warm bathtub water.
All in all, the place is severely overrated. Had I been paying, I would have been extremely upset.

My husband and I had a beautiful room in the Centurion Tower and loved it! Great view of the strip and an awesome bathroom!!! We spent two glorious days at the Venus Pool in our air conditioned cabana, which we highly recommend! The fitness facility is large with lots of excellent equipment. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again. We would recommend staying during the summer when you can enjoy the Venus Pool!!! :)

I am on the fence if my visit was good or bad. The casino, pool, property, staff, and shops are all wonderful. My room was very small and had two pass through doors to the adjacent rooms. I hated this as the gap under the door shared all the noises on either side. One side was two older women on holiday. The other side was a couple having WAY more fun than me... and not being quiet about it. If the rooms were a bit more quiet, I could easily consider this a great hotel. Check out was 45 minutes. Even though I could check in at the airport, I had to check out at the front desk... no invoice under the door or from room check out. The taxi line to leave the hotel was rather long too, but I was leaving after a large convention. Great place to visit... not to sleep.

Stayed five nights in the Palace Tower in February of 2004. Was supposed to be a Christmas gift (Gasp) Room very worn compared to Treasure Island and twice the price. Seemed as if no one had used this room for a long time end tables were dusty. No strip view, all furniture very spotted, cold water sink handle turned in a circle and did not shut off, shower door leaked puddles. Main entrance was closed, getting luggage out of there was a fiasco. The valet outside seemed to have no communication with the bellman. Couldn't find luggage at first, and almost missed our plane. All I did was tip for poor service. Casino beverage service in the middle of a weeknight was non existent. We tried both casinos and saw no waitresses. Girls were only there to serve drinks on the weekend. Buffet and Cafe were combined due to construction. Lines were 45 min long in the morning, no reservations taken, and nowhere else to have a full breakfast except room service. The Market/ food court was unappealing. One worker was carving a whole turkey on the counter at the sandwich station, we fled quickly. Cleopatra's Barge never rocked, only misted. Where was the illustrious D.J.? Your choice of Julius Caesar was either a tacky guy in a toga, barking into a microphone, live in sandals in the casino, or a statue with arms outstretched, just waiting to be stabbed. Et tu Brute! No wonder they turned this guy into a sieve in ancient Rome. Truthfully, this is no palace. This was our third Vegas visit and the least impressive. We could even hear through the walls. Rooms are not sound proof. We could hear telephone ringing in the next room and "colorful conversation" of abutting guests. Maids were very good. General housekeeping is very good, but room was worn compared to what we expected. Our view was the top of the Forum Shops parking garage. They can do better than this for guests who stay for five nights. Stay at Treasure Island!! It's immaculate, sound proof and spotless. Beware of trying to exit Caesars during your stay. Finding the one and only exit was almost impossible and when we asked how to get out to get to the Flamingo, the hotel across the street, the answer was "You can't" Someone should give these hosts a sense of direction. Don’t ask the casino host how the connection card works, it is a mystery even to them. (Or so it seemed) Beware entering Caesars Palace without a compass and map skills if there is still ongoing under construction and the main entrance is closed.

Palace Tower elevator access was not manned by a security person even though it was the middle of the night on what we were told was a "busy convention weekend". In the middle of the last night, in the casino, twice a drunk approached me at the same slot machine and asked me for , first a cigarette and then money to get his *** back home as he lost all of his money. It was about 3 am.I reported this to a woman who then got a security man. I NEVER expected this of Caesar's Palace.
